Personalized Iron Infusion Therapy
At LÚMENA Medical Wellness, iron infusion therapy is delivered in a provider-guided, personalized environment designed to restore iron levels and support energy, wellness, and overall quality of life.
Why Clients Choose Iron Infusion Therapy
Iron infusion therapy may be recommended for patients with documented iron deficiency who cannot tolerate oral iron, do not respond adequately to it, or need iron replacement more quickly.
Eligible patients may receive iron infusion therapy to help support:
• Restoration of iron levels
• Healthy red blood cell production
• Improved energy and reduced fatigue
• Better concentration and mental clarity
• Reduced weakness, dizziness, or shortness of breath related to iron deficiency
• Overall health and quality of life
Iron is essential for producing hemoglobin, which allows red blood cells to carry oxygen throughout the body. Treatment requires a medical evaluation, appropriate laboratory testing, and provider approval.
Results vary. Eligibility and treatment recommendations are based on medical history, symptoms, laboratory findings, and provider assessment.
Understanding Iron Infusion Therapy
Iron infusion therapy delivers iron directly into the bloodstream through an intravenous line. It is used to replenish iron stores and support hemoglobin and healthy red blood cell production in eligible patients with documented iron deficiency.
Iron plays an essential role in several important biological processes, including:
• Hemoglobin production and oxygen transport
• Healthy red blood cell formation
• Cellular energy production
• Brain function, concentration, and cognitive health
• Muscle function and physical endurance
• Immune system support
Iron levels may decline or become depleted due to factors such as:
• Heavy menstrual bleeding or other blood loss
• Pregnancy and increased iron requirements
• Inadequate dietary iron intake
• Reduced iron absorption
• Gastrointestinal disorders or surgery
• Chronic illness or inflammation
Laboratory testing and a medical evaluation are required to determine the underlying cause and whether iron infusion therapy is appropriate.
At LÚMENA Medical Wellness, NAD+ may be delivered through a slow IV infusion or targeted IM injection to support efficient absorption.
